Bodhran Carrying Cases (Bags)

A case is well worth its cost to protect your investment in the instrument, especially when carrying it to gigs, workshops or the nearest jam session.

 

For 18" Bodhrans

BC1. Padded black case by Waltons fits 18" bodhrans with a 3 1/2" deep rim. There is a long pocket for your beaters/tippers, an adjustable shoulder strap, and a pair of handles (these handles do not show well in the picture) for hand carrying. $35. Note that this case will not fit on bodhrans with rims deeper than 3 1/2".

For 16" Bodhrans

BC10. Economy 16" black nylon fabric case for bodhrans with rims up to about 4 1/2" deep. Side pocket, long zipper, handles. The fabric is of good quality, but there is no padding. $10

 

For 15" Bodhrans

BC10A. We have a couple of these cases that we call 15" cases. They aren't quite big enough for a 16" bodhran; they would work well for a 15" one, however. These take a bodhran rim depth of up to 4 1/2". Description is the same as for the BC10. $10

For 14" Bodhrans

Black, rugged material. This is a wide case; it takes a bodhran with at least 4" rim depth. $23. We have a couple of these left. The maker now lists this 14" case at $32.
