Cathedral Music Stand
For standing or seated musicians

Sale! MS6. There are two designs in the shape of cathedral windows on the stand's desk; these are made of thin light-colored wood from a stencil design and are glued to the wood desk. The maker calls it the Halifax stand. We think this would be ideal for church musicians, or use in early  buildings. $115. (The list price on these is now $180.) We have two of these stands at this price.

Rosewood Spiral Music Stand
For standing or seated musicians

MS1. Spiral stand. This rosewood spiral music stand looks beautiful and stands solidly as well, a combination that any musician will appreciate. We show this music stand at its minimum height; the extension pole is wood. The desk is 20" wide x 12" high with a 2" wide ledge for your  music. The desk can be set at the angle you choose; the angle-adjusting hardware piece is notched, so that when you set the angle by tightening the wooden knob, the desk stays there. It is shown at its minimum height of 38" from the floor to the ledge; up to three inches can be sawn off the wooden pole to lower the ledge to 35". Maximum height: 53" from the floor to the music ledge. Matte finish. $135. (List price is now $160)

Rosewood Lyre Music Stand
(Called the Regency stand by its maker)
For standing or seated musicians

MS2. Lyre stand (this is called the Regency by its maker). Graceful rosewood music stand with lyre-design desk and cabriole legs. Size of desk: 12" high by 20" wide. The ledge is 2" deep. The angle of the desk is adjusted by loosening a large wood screw, setting the desk, and then tightening the screw. Extension pole is made of wood; a large wood screw secures it at the desired height. The stand is shown in the picture set at its minimum height of 36" from the floor to the ledge at the bottom of the desk   (this stand could be lowered to as low as 30" from the floor to the ledge by cutting a piece off the bottom of the sliding wood extension pole). Maximum: 51" from floor to ledge. This is a solid stand, but it should be noted that if this stand is adjusted to the maximum height, it is a little less steady than when it is lower. Matte finish. Our resident engineer says it's no problem to put this stand together. Comes with instructions.

Rosewood Double  Lyre Music Stand
(Called the Double Regency stand by its maker)
For standing or seated musicians

MS2A. Double lyre music stand . This is the same rosewood music stand as MS2 above, but with two adjustable lyre desks, back to back. Ships with all pieces in one box. Matte finish. $175. (List price is now $239)

Rosewood Single and Double Victoria Model Music Stands
For standing musicians, display etc

MS4.The Single Victoria. This is a solid rosewood Victorian piece of furniture, really beautiful. Single lyre desk. The minimum ledge height is 43" from the floor (the photo at left shows this stand at minimum height); it can be set as high as 55". This means that this stand is good for standing musicians, conductors, or to display books or other items. Simple to assemble. Matte finish. Desk size: 19 1/2" wide by 12 1/2" high. $320 (List price is now $379)

The photo at left shows this stand with the desk raised about six inches above the minimum height; there is a pole inside the column that goes up to the desired height and is tightened in place by a wooden knob.

MS4A. Double Victoria. Same as MS4, but has two lyre desks back to back on one pole. We have one of these here that is really nice, except there are some flaws in the desk (the top double part). Contact us for more information on this. Regular $335. Price on this one: $275. (Lists at $399)

King Albert Model Music Stand
For seated musicians

MS5  The King Albert is like the single Victoria MS4 above, except that it is designed to go low enough for seated musicians. The lowest that the desk will go is 30" from the floor to the desk ledge. The highest that it will go is about 38" to the ledge. This is a solid rosewood Victorian piece of furniture, really beautiful. Single lyre desk. Simple to assemble. Matte finish. Desk size: 19 1/2" wide x 12 1/2" high. $250. (Lists at $299)
