Welsh Jewelry

The pieces shown below represent symbols of the Welsh: the Welsh flower, the daffodil; the dragon ( flown on the Welsh flag), and the lovespoon. Celtic crosses are as Welsh as they are Irish and Scottish; there are large standing stone crosses in Wales as in the rest of the Celtic isles. Also, the harp is a symbol of Wales, as the harp is the Welsh national musical instrument. The leek (worn by Welsh supporters at soccer games, and also on St. David's Day) is also a Welsh symbol, but is less popular as jewelry.

Costume and Pewter Dragons

WJ1. Enamelled dragon pin in red and gold is a show stopper. A Miracle brand piece.

The dragon pieces below have a green enamel circle with either a silverplated or gilt dragon sitting on top of the circle. Choice of pin, earrings or necklace.

WJ6C (not shown). Dragon tie tack or lapel pin. The cutout dragon has a tack on the back; the dragon is the same as the WJ6B above, but is smaller (slightly more than 3/4" across). $7

WJ7. Three-dragon pin. This piece has three charming dragons in a circle with their wings touching in the middle, as a sort of dragon triscel. Made of polished pewter. This piece would work as a small cloak pin. 2" across. $27

The two-dragon pins below are a long-time popular design that we have stocked in the past and are now bringing back in these three attractive colors. Faux stones, 1 1/2" across. For collectors: these are Miracle brand pieces.

Costume Daffodils

Drop stud earrings in goldtone or silvertone. The raised-design daffodil is a separate piece attached on top of the teardrop setting. Size: 1" long, including the ring at the top of the teardrop.

WJ50. This beautiful 3-D filigree sterling daffodil pin is an unusual piece. The delicate raised design has tiny pierced holes. This is coated, and will not tarnish. Presented in a nice gift box. Made in Wales. 2 1/2" high overall. $34

WJ51. Solid sterling two-daffodil pin is 1 1/2" long overall. Made in Wales. These would cost a lot more if we got them in now. Only $25

WJ52A. This  daffodil pendant is a delicate piece. The daffodil is 5/16" across, the same size as the flowers on the pin WJ36A above. Available in solid sterling on a nice sterling 20" rope chain @ $19 or in solid nine-carat gold on a gold 18" chain @ $59.
WJ52B. Matching daffodil earrings are available in sterling with sterling posts and backs @ $12 or in solid nine-carat gold with gold posts and backs @ $54.

Cariad pin. "Cariad" is Welsh for "loved one." Men, this is the pin to give to the lady in your life! Heart-shaped crystals adorn each end and a small one dots the "i." 2" across.
